Information we collect
When you create an account or profile, we collect details you submit such as your name, email address, profession, location, profile description, contact preferences and photos. When you submit a service request, we collect your account identifier, service category, area, job description, timing and contact number. Authentication and hosting services also process technical information needed to operate the site.
How we use it
We use account details to sign you in and manage your profile. We use service requests to review the job, contact you, and, after contacting you, consider an introduction to a suitable provider. Customer request details are not displayed in the public directory. Profile details may become visible to visitors when public profile discovery is launched; the current preview is visible only to you.
Who receives it
SEENZA uses Firebase for authentication, database and hosting, and Cloudinary for uploaded profile images. These services may process information outside South Africa. We do not automatically distribute service requests to providers in this launch version. We will contact you before sharing your request or contact details with a provider.
Your choices and requests
You can edit the profile details available in your account and choose optional cookie preferences. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about our handling of it, contact gavilonbasson@gmail.com. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or to resolve a legitimate dispute.
Security and retention
Access to customer requests is restricted by database rules to the submitting account and authorised project administrators. No online service is risk free. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal obligations; a specific retention schedule must be adopted before launch.
Changes
We may update this notice as SEENZA's services develop. The date on this page will change when the notice is revised.
